I kind of have the same problem in math, izaak. I hate to go back and double-check - which is part of my problem . . . then again, frequently I don't have any clue about any of it, so double-checking's not really going to help.

Sideways happy face.

Wow, you arty aspies really are something. I tend to be the opposite, concerning writing styles, and love commas (and parentheses) to allow a fuller meaning and content to my sentences. That and I never have the time to make them shorter, editing and reorganising thoughts post blurt is something I've never been good at, in written word AND verbal. I just spurt and go. There is no revisits. Once a sentence is done. That's all, good night. No time to go back. Can't re-edit or undo. My brain don't work like that. I can finish, and go back. To the beginning I mean. Do the whole lot over. But not while writing. When finished, I don't want to. Go back that is. Time to move on and get going.

Anyhow, good luck with statistics. Sounds like you'll need it.

have a safe and fun trip home!!

I played alone when I was a kid too. I had my own school. My grandma (she raised me till I was 12) converted an old shed into a playroom. I think she expected me to find the artsy side of me. Well, there was no such thing. I converted it into my classroom. I used stuff animals for my students. They did worksheets, got time out, swats (they were allowed back then). I even had a giant doll that was the principal. I know I was pathetic. But it was a blast. And yep...I played board games by myself too...try playing battleship by yourself...lol.

This is a toughy as most of the music therapists that we have encountered so far 'require' that the child wear a pair of headphones. I think this is a practical point because they're usually conducting the session in a studio / rooms with other children and therapists around.

If we could just get over the headset thingy!

On the other hand, it's probably a load of hocus pokus as that's the only explanation I can think of, as to why mine scream whenever I sing, whistle or hum.

Or just maybe... I may not have perfect pitch.
Best wishes

What a great find, Val!! SO exciting.
Love the quotes, too. Quotes from a time period where "refrigerator mothers" were blamed for their child's autism and autistics were institutionalized without a second thought...thank goodness we know better now. These folks were ahead of their time!
Cheers to the pioneers of Music Therapy!
